QuestNest / terms of use

Terms of use

These plain-language terms set expectations for using QuestNest, creating a player profile and taking part in friendly co-op gaming sessions. They are a generated draft and must be reviewed and completed by the site owner before publication.

1. Using QuestNest

By accessing or using QuestNest, you agree to follow these terms and to use the service in a considerate, lawful way. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you are using QuestNest for another person or group, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

QuestNest is intended for adults who want to discover short, friendly co-op gaming sessions and potential teammates. The service may let you create a player profile, share play preferences and join or explore curated sessions. It is an informational and community service, not a guarantee that a particular player, game, session time or outcome will be available.

Your responsibilities

Good sessions depend on clear expectations and basic respect. When using QuestNest, you agree to the following practical obligations:

Provide truthful information. Keep profile details, availability and play preferences reasonably accurate, and do not impersonate another person or use a misleading identity.
Respect other players. Communicate civilly, welcome different skill levels and avoid harassment, discrimination, threats, bullying or unwanted personal contact.
Protect private information. Share only information you are comfortable making available to the relevant community, and do not publish another person's personal details without permission.
Use the service lawfully. Do not use QuestNest for fraud, abuse, spam, scraping, unauthorised access, malware distribution or any activity that disrupts the site or another person's use of it.
Keep accounts secure. If the service provides account credentials or access information, keep them confidential and notify the site owner through the published contact route if you suspect misuse.
Play responsibly. Make your own decisions about games, voice or text chat, spending, physical wellbeing and whether a session is suitable for you.

Content, availability and changes

You keep responsibility for text, profile information and other material you submit. By submitting it for display through QuestNest, you give the site owner permission to host, reproduce and present it as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not submit material you do not have the right to share. The site owner may remove content that appears unlawful, unsafe, misleading or inconsistent with these terms.

QuestNest and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. The site owner aims to present useful information but does not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatible games, suitable teammates, session attendance or particular results. Information about games, schedules or community activity may change and should be checked before you rely on it.

The site owner may update, pause or discontinue parts of QuestNest, and may revise these terms when the service or its risks change. Updated terms should be made available on this page. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires another process.

Limits, ending use and contact

To the extent permitted by law, the site owner is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of, or inability to use, QuestNest, or from interactions and arrangements between players. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer protections.

You may stop using QuestNest at any time. The site owner may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect players, the service or the law, including for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. Provisions concerning content, responsible use, limitations and interpretation may continue where their nature requires it.
